Serco Sodexo Defence Services is a leading provider of Support Services to the Australian Defence Force.  The company acknowledges the importance of protecting the environment as part of a global community and is committed to administering an Environmental Management System (EMS) to minimise environmental risk from company activities.

 

The company will strive for continual improvement, prevention of pollution and compliance with all Environmental Laws, Regulations and other requirements under each contract.

 

Serco Sodexo Defence Services is committed to maintaining a management system which complies with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 14001 using the following principles:

 

•    Reduce waste production and increase recycling

•    Improve the efficiency of resource use

•    Protect, rehabilitate and improve the integrity of the natural environment

•    Effectively manage Heritage items on the Defence Estate

•    Maintain controls to prevent accidental pollution

 

The company is dedicated to working with the customer and the community to develop site-specific strategies that clearly define the objectives, responsibilities and resources required to deliver Environmental Plans.  All interested parties will be made aware of initiatives and be encouraged to help achieve these environmental goals through:
