We are anticipating the Support Office will open by the end of the week. Energex is working very hard to have services reconnected but they are working under difficult circumstances. On a positive note, all lanes of Coronation Drive are now open. The authorities have conducted a depth survey and sonar survey along the base of the rock walls underwater and Coronation Drive has shown no significant signs of bank slumping. Lord Mayor Campbell Newman said today was the first time a proper analysis of the road could be performed from the river due to flood debris and the strong current.

To our valued employees, clients and suppliers we thank you for your continued patience and understanding at this time. We do not expect the office will be closed for months nor will any staff lose jobs, as may have been indicated in some rumour mills. Please do not hesitate to contact the SSDS Communications Manager on 0439 351 015 with any questions or concerns.
